About The Tournament

The Save A Million Vets™ Veterans Day Golf Tournament is fast-paced, golfer friendly, and fun. We use a scramble format and a shotgun start. There is no pressure to play every shot well — so it’s an enjoyable day on the links for both the novice, as well as for the experienced player.

Your participation in this tournament directly helps to save a million Vets at risk of being killed by deadly prescription drug cocktails.

We play in foursomes, but individual players are strongly encouraged to join us. We will place you on a team allowing you the opportunity to make new friends and establish new business relationships.

The top-rated Royal Links Golf Club is one of only two courses in Las Vegas that owns its own golf ball gun. You can use the “Fun Gun” as we call it, on the 10th hole to improve your score or simply to experience its 350+ yard driving power. Your “gunshot” counts and we award prizes to the 3 players closest to the hole.

The Royal Links Golf Club

About Royal Links Golf Club

Royal Links was built to honor the rich legacy and tradition of the game of golf. Designed by Dye International, this links-style course features holes inspired by eleven different Open Championship rotation courses, including the “Road Hole” and “Hell Bunker” from the Old Course at St. Andrews and the “Postage Stamp” from Royal Troon. Other courses in the loop include Carnoustie, Turnberry, Royal Liverpool, Prestwick, Royal Lytham, Muirfield and Royal Birkdale. Monuments were erected at various locations throughout the golf course indicating the spots where legendary moments in Open history took place, and a Champions Wall stands near the all-turf practice range as a tribute to the tournament’s American champions such as Three-time Open champion and owner of our course record, Tiger Woods.

One Of The Best Courses In Vegas

It’s more than an Open experience: It’s a course designed in the image of the world’s most famous and, with our accolades from highly-regarded golf experts, it’s on its way to becoming equally as famed! Royal Links Golf Club was locally recognized as the “Best Course in Las Vegas” in the Review Journal’s “Best Of Vegas” poll, and was recognized as one of “America’s Best Courses You Can Play” by GolfWeek.

Enhance Your Game with a Traditional Caddie

When you’ve got a seasoned caddie on your bag, you’ll discover the ancient game the way it was truly intended to be played. We strongly recommend enhancing your round with our traditional caddies and forecaddies.  Through their unrivaled playing perspective and uncanny expertise that aides golfers of all skill levels with even the most challenging shots, you may find your typical score transformed into a record-shattering personal best. And though you may be so captivated by the setting and eventually lose track of time while learning interesting tidbits about the courses and their championship history, your caddie certainly won’t: Their unassuming awareness of pace promotes faster play without any pressure.  For an entertaining twist on tradition, our ParMate caddie program is available to add a bit of unexpected fun and a unique flair throughout your round, too!   LOOPERS & PARMATES ARE AVAILABLE BY 48 HOUR REQUEST ONLY!

Explore an Authentic Castle-Style Clubhouse

While you may believe you’re experiencing the past in a distant land upon entering the gates to our castle-turned-clubhouse, you’ll be at one of closest courses to the Las Vegas Strip and minutes from its famed, futuristic ambience. With Swilcan Bridge and a statue of Old Tom Morris just outside its massive doors, the clubhouse’s hallowed halls honor the game’s home as much as the course itself: You’ll delight in the same rich stylings and authentic atmosphere that greet those vying for the Claret Jug from the very moment you enter. A grand selection of treasurable merchandise is available in our top-rated golf shop.  Stymie’s Pub offers a Scottish flare menu and ice-cold tap beer to sip while watching the latest sporting events on one of the six TV’s within the pub.

What’s Been Said About Royal Links Golf Club?

  • “This clever gimmick could have failed if Dye had just splashed an independent collection of all-star holes across the acreage, but instead, he chose some relatively obscure Open venue holes to balance the famous ones, thus forming a seamless fit.” – Golf Magazine, 2008
  • “If you can’t get to the U.K, head to this collection of the ‘best holes from the great British Open courses’” that’s “wonderfully fun” with its”huge pot bunkers, unusual rough, and traditionally garbed caddies.” – Zagat, 2007/2008
  • “If you live outside of the Las Vegas area you should make a point of visiting just to play this course. It is well worth it.” – West Coast Golfer, 2008
